The payroll system is where you typically find your paystubs online or can request your paid time off.
There are two ways to find out which payroll provider your employer is using:
- Ask your HR department
- Find it on your paystub
Asking your HR or Payroll department for your payroll provider
If you don't know what your payroll provider is or how to find your paystub, the easiest way of finding out this information is to get in touch with your HR department and ask, "Which payroll provider do we use here?", or "Where can I find my paystubs online?".
Sample email template:
To: Your HR or Payroll Department
Subject: "Question regarding our payroll provider"
Email:
"Dear all,
I am trying to find my paystubs online. Can you please remind me of the name of our payroll provider and the link to where I can find my pay stubs online?
Thank you!"
Finding the payroll provider on your pay stub
If you have a paystub from the company you work at, you should see a payroll provider's company name somewhere on the paystub. Large providers are ADP, Paycom, Paychex, Gusto, etc.
In the example below you can see that the provider is ADP (highlighted in the top right corner).
